My research is about giving machines a way to tell you when something's wrong before it becomes a failure — fault diagnosis, signal processing, and condition monitoring for systems where downtime is expensive or dangerous. My current PhD work, at the University of Guilan under Dr. Ali Chaibakhsh and in collaboration with Dr. Afshin Rahimi's Intelligent Control, Analysis, and Modeling (iCAM) Lab at the University of Windsor, is on physics-guided transformer networks for diagnosis and prognosis in heavy-duty aero engines — combining physical models of how engines actually degrade with the pattern-finding strength of modern deep learning, so the predictions stay grounded in real physics instead of just fitting historical data.
